Our department launched in 2013. From day-one, we focused on supplying a high-quality education to qualify our students on scientific and career level. This achieved by delivering up-to-date knowledge about biotechnology and by offering well-equipped laboratory to enable the postgraduate students to pursue their researches. 

 Biotechnology programs (diploma, master, and Ph.D.) opened for student admission in the academic year 2013/2014. The next year another program was opened "Medicinal Chemistry" for a diploma, master, and Ph.D. degree which is, later on, changed its name to "Biomedical Chemistry". Moreover "Stem cell program" is in its way to be opened.

 Additionally, our department delivers periodically seminars and workshops in diverse fields in biotechnology major which help students in their scientific life. We conduct a scientific meeting on weekly bases where you share your experience and to explore the new in science.

Indeed, we have a special, pioneer, an excellent team of staff and researchers support us to achieve our department goals and to make continuous developments and improvements.

 On the other hand, we invest in our team and encouraging them to attend international workshops and conferences to increase their skills and widen their knowledge. Also, we prompt them to study abroad and have an international experience, where most of our team had a fellowship or scholarship abroad before Ph.D. or postdoctoral. 

 We have a convenient healthy environment for doing research work. Our research

 laboratories are well-equipped with strong infrastructure and advanced instruments as PCR, Aktapurifier, Real-time PCR, Nano drop, etc…. which help the researchers in conducting advanced research.
